Doug Whyte studied at Miami University where he earned a B.S. in Finance in 1993. In 1995, Whyte began a career in film and has since worked on numerous independent feature films as well as commercial productions for Nintendo, UPS, Comedy Central, and HGTV. In 2004, Whyte completed his directorial debut, Pushing Up Daisies, and was also accepted into the IFP Market in New York for Silver Spurs, his work-in-progress documentary about a western-themed group home for the mentally ill. Currently, Whyte is the Development Director for Double Helix, a community media organization in St. Louis, Missouri.

Tom Grable graduated with a degree in film from The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1996. Since then he has worked as a freelance videographer in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. He has made several short narrative films and Pushing Up Daisies is his first documentary.
